Rebeccca talks about summer and babies!

You know her as the Noxzema girl, and the real-life Mrs. McSteamy. The lovely Rebecca Gayheart gave us the scoop on romance, beauty, and babies at the 6th Annual Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles.

You look gorgeous! What are you wearing?

I feel a little disheveled, but that’s okay. Monique Lhullier. I wore this dress because I love it, but also because I love Monique, and she is here supporting tonight so I wanted to honor her by wearing her dress.

Who makes your sexy shoes?

I they’re Gucci, but I could be wrong. No, Jimmy Choo! And please don’t ask me about my jewelry. They’re lovely, and I know I have to be careful with them…

Do you have any secret indulgences?

This week, there hasn’t been any, planning this. Taking naps in the afternoon when no one is around, and it’s quiet.

What are your beauty essentials?

Water and sleep.

What are your summer plans? Will you and your husband (Eric Dane) be traveling or anything?

Yes! We leave for Europe for four weeks on Tuesday.

Oooo, where in Europe?

All over. Just a little getaway. It’s been madness in our household with his stuff and this. Yeah. Much needed vacation.

So sort of a second honeymoon?

Yeah. I’d call it a first honeymoon. We never got a first honeymoon, so that’s what I would call it.

What’s your secret to keeping the romance and maintaining a healthy relationship?

Our secret is just to really spend time together, and communicate as much as possible. And not to take any of this too seriously… Every night is a date night for us.

So, are the rumors true?… Are you and your husband wanting to start a family?

Absolutely. Yes, we’ve come to the good decision that it’s time. We just woke up one morning both looked at each other and said, “it’s time!.”

How many children do you want?

I don’t know. Let’s start with one… And then ask me.

Boy or girl – any preference?

Just a healthy baby like everyone else. But, you know, first I have to get pregnant. So we’ve got some fun!
